Quarterdeck - Camden Windward House

The Quarterdeck is a deluxe, 2nd floor king room, with a large private deck and separate entrance from the main Windward House Inn. Located in the back of the property, this very private room boasts floor to ceiling windows with an enormous deck, overlooking Mt. Battie. The high vaulted ceilings add additional natural light with a series of skylights. Other amenities include a gas fireplace, refrigerator, Keurig machine and large Samsung smart TV. The en-suite bathroom features a single person Jacuzzi tub and separate walk-in shower. In nautical terms, the quarterdeck is a raised deck behind the main mast of a sailing ship. Traditionally it was where the captain commanded his vessel and where the ship’s military colors were kept. This led to its use as the main ceremonial and reception area. From relaxing to star gazing, let the Quarterdeck be the focal point of your new England trip. All guest rooms include a complimentary two course, fresh, made to order, breakfast.

Harbor Carriage - Camden Windward House

The Harbor Carriage is a deluxe, ground floor king room, furnished with a romantic period inspired, dramatic four-poster antique style king bed. With a private entrance, that is separate from the main Windward House Inn, this room is ideal for romantic getaways. There is a refrigerator and beautiful blue gas fireplace (as of 11/28/19 fireplace is out of order until further notice) that matches the vintage soaking tub in the en-suite. A unique feature of this room is the enormous en-suite bathroom, featuring it’s vintage high-back soaking claw-foot bathtub and separate walk-in shower. The Harbor Carriage gets its name from its own rich history. Within this section of the renovated post and beam barn, the original owners of this circa 1850s Greek revival home, kept their carriage. All guest rooms include a complimentary two course, fresh, made to order, breakfast.

THE SUNRISE ROOM This room features a comfortable queen-size, pillow-top mattress. An en-suite bath with shower/ fluffy terry robes and Gilchrist &Soames bath products are provided. The inviting bay window seat offers a full to partial view of the ocean, depending on the season. Ocean breezes and a ceiling fan keeps this room comfortable in warmer months. For autumn evenings, a fluffy duvet provides just the right amount of warmth. Breakfast is provided for an additional charge of $20. /pp

BAY ROOM This cozy room at Victorian by the Sea offers B&B lodging near Camden Maine with big views of Penobscot Bay! You will sleep soundly on the queen, pillow-top mattress while enjoying the sound of the lapping waves on the stone beach nearby.  A ceiling fan and sea breezes assure your comfort. An ensuite bathroom w/shower is available. Fluffy terry robes and Gilchrist & Soames bath products are provided.  For an additional fee of $20. pp, a warm Gourmet Breakfast is available.
