Private Guesthouse with Bay View Deck

The one bedroom, one bath unit was recently remodeled (in 2017) and includes all new kitchen, bathroom, full size laundry and air conditioning. The large 400 square foot private deck has new outdoor furniture with views of Mission Bay and gorgeous sunsets year round. Enjoy a show on the 50" 4K LG smart TV in the living room which offers Netflix, Amazon Video, and major network TV stations. Cook a delicious meal in the kitchenette complete with a mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove top, coffeemaker, and more. If you plan to head to the beach, the storage ottoman is secretly a "beach box" containing a couple of folding chairs, beach toys, towels and a small cooler. The unit is stocked with coffee, shampoo, conditioner, laundry supplies, iron, and more. Filtered water is provided via a faucet on the kitchen sink. Easy check-in via a numeric keypad on the front door with the code provided prior to arrival. Plenty of street parking is available. We love meeting new people and live next door in the main house so we are available most anytime. We are both from San Diego and still love to explore the latest new spots so we are happy to give recommendations. Bay Park is a great central neighborhood originally built in the early 1940s. It was recently voted the most livable neighborhood in a recent San Diego poll. Check out the restaurants on Morena Boulevard, which are just a few minutes' walk away or explore all of the major attractions of San Diego easily. The house has easy access to I-5 and is only 10-15 mins from downtown, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and the airport. The private guest house is located across from Mission Bay and within walking distance to bay, market, restaurants and coffee shops. Uber/Lyft is $8 to $14 to most of San Diego's main attractions. There is a bit of white noise from the highway down the hill near Mission Bay when out on the deck but nothing too bad, just worthy of mention. The unit has double paned vinyl windows so it's quiet indoors.

Return from a sunset hike and refresh under a rain shower. Bali Temple is a beautiful custom home located on the 1990 lava flow, right on the ocean. Luxurious appointments, including the Eastern King Tempur-Pedic bed, the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, a 6' bathtub, and incredible expansive ocean views, make Bali Temple a one-of-a-kind destination. Bali Temple is its own self contained home. The shared laundry room is located next to the main entry door. As little or as much as my guests wish. Right out the back door is 500 acres of state land for hiking over lava fields by the ocean. You will need a rental car during your stay. Before I created Bali Temple, this property was a part of a Buddhist's Meditation Retreat. It still carries this peaceful and tranquil ambiance to this day! By the time my guests leave Bali Temple, they feel refreshed and renewed. This is a deeply relaxing setting.

Far from any roads, the dominant sounds are the many birds who make their homes in the surrounding trees. This is a thoughtfully furnished home with an open layout, on a coffee farm, just bring your food and clothes for which ever adventure you intend; leave the accommodations and ambiance to us.

The Architect's Retreat by Oregon Coast Modern

Originally designed by renowned Portland, OR architect Marvin Witt for his family, this towering 3 story "tree house" has been lovingly updated and restored. It features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and an open concept living room and kitchen with fireplace on the top floor. The house also features 3 private decks. It's a short walk to the beach and close to town and hiking trails. Per Airbnb policy please note we have exterior cameras for security in the driveway, front walkway and east side siding.
