Beds have locally made high-quality down duvets with allergy protectors on mattresses and pillows and quality soft microfiber sheets. Extra-long couch in living room sleeps a fifth guest. One bedroom has a long couch for an extra guest in-room. Pack-n-play crib for infants/toddlers. Amazing modern, wood and stainless sun-drenched kitchen has Jenn-Aire gas stove, farm sink, stainless built-in fridge and huge oak island. My wife is an amazing French trained cook, so the kitchen is well stocked. Living room has 50" 4K TV with all streaming services and a gas fireplace. Forced-air central heat and AC keeps things just the right temp. Washer/dryer in unit. Coded locks make entry a breeze. Wifi is blazing fast. Great relocation option, business or corporate stays, events or sightseeing, visiting relatives, or checking out the music or sports scene. Light rail goes directly downtown (4 min), stadiums (12 minutes) and the University of Washington (3 min). We know you'll love it here. It has a charming private feel yet access to everything. Private front porch or side patio French door entrances via keyless code. (Just a few steps up for those concerned about stairs). Amazing gourmet kitchen, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher and Asko washer/dryer. Dining room has a table and chairs that can be moved out of the double doors onto a private patio for al fresco dining on gorgeous days. Each bedroom has a private bath. A guest on the living room couch will need access to a bedroom bathroom. Parking available for a car in our driveway or at a pay lot very close by if you vehicle is too large or you have more than two. If you want privacy to focus on business, you won't even know I am nearby. However I am always up for a chat, glass of wine, tasty beer or Seattle's famous coffee if you like to meet the locals. Classic 1900s single family houses close to sparkling new apartments. My house is tucked into a quiet corner of this vibrant neighborhood of shops & restaurants. Capitol Hill station is four blocks away, ride share arrives in minutes at any hour, great nightlife, the best coffee shops in Seattle and all day and late night food & drink. It is all right outside the front door! Walk! The walk score here is near perfect at 98! Light Rail to Airport, Stadiums, Downtown malls and Public Market (Westlake and Pacific Place), Convention Center, Light Rail to the Airport (40 min), Stadiums (12 min), Downtown shopping (5 min) or University of Washington (3 min). Street Car to Pioneer Square, hospitals, or stadiums. Uber: Car Share everywhere. Car2go, ReachNow, ZipCar, Lyft and Uber always nearby in minutes and $5-10 to downtown. My wife and I have a small non-allergenic terrier rescue that we love, but... guests animals are discouraged because of the central location next to busy roads, hardwood floors and allergies of other guests. If you have one, please ask my permission first. Maddy is quiet, but does go nuts when the postman or UPS guy comes to the door.

This property sits between the main entrance to Joshua Tree National Park (15 minute drive) and Pioneertown (10 minute drive). This house has been designed to enjoy the natural landscape. Most walls can slide open to have an indoor/outdoor feel. The house has black out drapes for privacy. The pool/spa area is private with three king sized sunbeds. We will provide guests with an electronic code to access the property via the driveway gate and front door. The entire property is available for this rental. We ask that all guests be careful walking around the property as cactus are numerous. Please leave no trace on the grounds and respect the desert and the wildlife. I am available to answer any questions that you have. The property is in an area that resembles being inside the park. Your retreat begins as you leave paved roads onto desert roads composed of decomposed granite (DG) to get to the property. The house guide provides an overview of day hikes in the park. Please ask for any recommendations if you are interested in hiring a private chef to cook a high desert inspired meal, yoga instructor to teach a class or massage therapist to visit the property during your stay. A vehicle is necessary to get around the area. The home comes complete with Waterworks fixtures, Ann Sacks tile, and locally sourced items and furniture. Art by Jim Olarte. Not formally trained in Architecture, Andrew designed the exterior and interior for Boulder2Sky. Mark's family helped in building items such as the fire pit, the gate and some beds. Solar panels are used to help reduce carbon footprint.
