Situated one block from Town Square, Rothesay Cottage consists of the front rooms of an original 1870s home, moved from Newbury by steam tractor in 1928. The overall style is a hybrid of 1870s and 1920s Art Deco to reflect its history. Your queen room boasts a stunning period bedroom suite complete with ensuite. Your snug (cosy lounge) includes the original operational Edwardian fireplace with a modern cupboard kitchenette. The front verandah has been enclosed to create a sunroom with daybed.

An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Quiet as country, one minute from great coffee

Charmingly eccentric, very comfortable and spacious two-bedroom shack set in an elegant sweep of hedged garden shaded by a giant pin-oak tree. Lounge in summer shade or snuggle by the fire in winter. All the quiet and privacy of a country cottage only two minutes' stroll to the V-Line railway station, five minutes more to the cafes, pubs, regular markets and shops of Woodend village and a network of gorgeous nature walks.
