The large integrated deck and living areas are great for entertainment or just lazing on the enormous day bed, while the separated adult and childrens living and bedroom spaces are perfectly designed for large groups or multiple family accommodation. Our cottage is located on the edge of the beautiful Otway National Park yet only 5 minutes from Lorne, the best of both worlds. Relax on the deck and take in the sweeping views across the forest to the ocean and the odd visit from King Parrots and Cockatoos You’ll have everything you need including linen, basic pantry supplies, streaming services, wifi and in winter firewood We are located on acreage with other similar cottages close by. Our cottage is freestanding, private and very peaceful

The Hideaway Shack.

Located just 100m from Anglesea Main Beach, our home is perfectly located for your coastal getaway. This hidden gem is tucked away with ample outdoor space to relax in privacy, and also just a minutes walk to great coffee. The house is made up of 3 bedrooms (2 queens + 1 King beds). Filled with art, books, a big comfy couch and fireplace for and wood fired oven on the new large private deck. We are family friendly, but ask that you respect all of the pieces we have left there for your to enjoy.

Wye River beach shack hideaway in the tree tops

Wye River Beach Shack is a 2-bedroom 1950s beach house in the treetops with wildlife & ocean views, perfectly suited for a couple, two couples or a family. A short walk down to the surf beach, cafe/general store and pub situated on the Great Ocean Road. NOTE-there is separate access to the second bedroom downstairs and it is on its own key code. If you do not need second bedroom there is no additional charge. When booking both bedrooms for (2 -4 people) there is a $50 for cleaning and linen.

Our place is a short stroll to the Wye surf beach which is patrolled over the summer season by the Wye River Surf Club. We have great ocean views and equally beautiful views of magnificent gum trees. There are many social areas including indoor and outdoor dining for 8 or more people. The nearby Wye General Store Cafe and Wye Beach Hotel are friendly meeting points to enjoy the ambiance. We love a family beach holiday.
