Stay in an authentic log cabin from the 1800’s that's nestled among the 56 Acres of forest and shoreline of Lake MI, between North Point Nature Preserve & Mt. McSauba Rec. Go off Grid!!! The cabin property (over an acre), has a fire pit, cleared hiking trails throughout and loads of stuff to do all around. The beach only 400 feet away and is spectacular! There are local bike trails, tennis, golf, & disc golf), soccer fields, basketball courts, skate park, fishing, hiking, beautiful beaches

Cabin on lake w no public access. Owners out of sight and sound. Great pike fishing on supplied jonboat and 4 kayaks. Wood-burning sauna next to cabin. Lake Michigan beach and boat access 5 minutes away. 45 minutes to Pictured Rocks, 20 minutes to Kitch iti kipi, 25 minutes to La Fayette State Park. 12v batteries supply a bit of power and a few lights. Pets are welcome except on beds and futon :) Silverware, utensils, propane and firewood provided. You'll need ice, food, and drinking water.

Snowmobile trail #8 is an easy 1.5 miles south along Dukes Rd, 6 miles on trail to gas in Rumely, plenty of space for trailers.

When I remodeled the home I created the modern version of a one room camping lodge with a bathroom and loft sleeping area. The home is full of character and some quarks but rest assured it is absolutely comfortable, cozy and efficiently set up for your stay.
