Relax and take it all in. Thanks to an ever-changing tide the view is constantly changing. From one of two decks, you'll see so much: a working harbor, big exposed rocks, small islands (bring your rain boots to trudge through the clam flats), and plenty of wildlife. At high tide launch your canoe and paddle around the harbor. Or just sit, read a book, and take it all in. A short ride (5-10 minutes) brings you to beautiful hiking trails, delicious food, locally owned boutiques, and so much more.

Pilot House

Named for a boat shipwrecked on its shore nearly a century ago, Pilot House boasts gorgeous views of the working harbor and outlying islands. The oceanfront house on spacious grounds is comfortable and up-to-date, with water views from the large high-end kitchen, open-plan living and dining areas, master bedroom, lower-level guest room, and upper deck. Outside spaces include front and back gardens and a small waterside platform for watching the boat traffic. Town center is a short walk away.

Tranquility Cottage (Year Round) & Cabin (May-Oct)

Peaceful & pet friendly acre near Acadia in natural, wooded setting. Fast WiFi, view to Ripples Pond (a wildlife sanctuary), & fenced in backyard. Big 1 bed cottage has comfy King mattress + 2 sleeper futons. The Cabin (only open May 1-Oct 31) has kitchenette, bathroom & Queen bed. A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! NOTE: Cabin open May-Oct + has ceiling+box fans but no A/C

Tranquil cabin; open plan. Bedroom w/queen bed & privacy doors. Alcove w/bunkbeds. The Cabins at Currier Landing, featured in Dwell as “Three Magical Tiny Cabins Take Root in a Maine Forest,” are located on the Thos. Currier Saltwater Farm. Glimpses of water & access to 300’ of the Benjamin River Harbor shore. 2 seasonal cabins; 1 studio cabin. Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula near Deer Isle, the cabins offer access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

Our family is excited to share our tiny house with you! Located on our artist collective farm, this is our favorite place on earth. It’s off grid, cottage core, and has a beautiful & fragrant cedar sauna. We are 27 minutes from Acadia National Park and surrounded by truly gorgeous local beaches. We offer super comfy beds, an outdoor shower, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and cozy winter movie nights in a bed alcove like on a boat.

Between Bar Harbor and Seal Harbor, 10 minutes by car to both and just 5 minutes by car to the Otter Cliff entrance to Acadia Park Loop Road. Walk to the Causeway via the Grover Path in 15 minutes. 5-minute walk to the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.

Private, second-floor suite in a quiet, wooded neighborhood at the heart of Mount Desert Island. Spacious bedroom with comfortable king-sized bed, reading nook, ensuite bath, and views of gardens and pine forest. A short drive (15-20 minutes) to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor, but surrounded by nature and away from the crowds.
