Come relax and enjoy this comfy house nestled along the Intracoastal Waterway and ​the Masonboro​ Island Reserve​. Enjoy many waterfront views from inside the cottage, outside on the deck, around the fire-pit, playing games, or on the hosts' private pier. You can see lots of boats, a wide variety of native wildlife, sunrises, and more. Pier activities include fishing, lounging, or docking your own small boat, kayaks, etc. Minutes from the beaches, board walks, fine dining, boating, and more.

It's a shipping container! A cozy, actually luxurious 1-bedroom home with a hand-made walnut counter-top and plants everywhere, bringing a bit of nature indoors. A reverse osmosis drinking water system, 55-inch television, full-size refrigerator, full-size bed with Tuft-and-Needle mattress. There are outdoor cats that visit, Grey Cat lives in the forest in the front yard and cat food is available. The neighbor might ask you for a dollar, don't do it! We would like to extend a warm Southern welcome to all of our Guests staying in Wilmington's "Jungle Room." The separate Guest room is set in a beautiful tropical garden full of interesting and fascinating plants-palms, staghorn ferns, colorful bromeliads, and many more. One of our hobbies is propagating these plants because of their beauty and overall dramatic effect. If we've done it right, you can easily imagine you are in a tropical rain forest right here in Southeastern NC!

Quiet Carriage House in Wilmington.

When staying at the Carriage House, the beach and Wilmingtons' attractions are yours for the taking. The Carriage House is located in the Princess Place Neighborhood, next to Burnt Mill Creek -a bird watchers paradise. It is 1.5 miles to Downtown Wilmington and the Riverwalk and 7 miles to the Beach. I have crafted the Carriage House from reclaimed materials. Enjoy the guest hot tub and fire table. Snowbirds and travel nomads know that Wilmington is wonderful year round!
