Historic Schoolhouse c1866 / Sauna + Hot Tub + Gym

Winner of Maine Homes Small Space Design Award 2023 We are located on the private 80-acre Shapleigh Pond in the Southern Maine, an hour from Portland and two hours from Boston. Experience a bygone era in this restored Schoolhouse circa 1866 with many original details such as oversized glass-paned windows, wood plank floors, chalkboards, tin ceiling and more. Modern amenities such as fireplace, private hot tub, fire pit, gas BBQ and access to our pool (June-Sept), pond, gym and tennis court.

Quiet road but very accessible. Perfect area for hiking, biking, relaxing walks along the Ball Mountain Brook or kayaking on Grout Pond or Gale Meadows. Enjoy a campfire in the side yard/former pony corral or relax on the spacious screened in porch. 30 minutes from seasonal farmers market and from Manchester for outlets.

Our property in Vermont is a slice of heaven: Set between Burlington & Stowe, 10 minutes off the main highway I-89, with quick access to the main spots in Vermont, but tucked down a dirt road with nothing but the sounds of the stream. On our property we built The Tuckaway Suite, an entirely private guest suite above our garage. Catskill Cabin in the Woods

Our little Cabin in the Woods is a cozy place to unwind, build a fire, and enjoy the nature that surrounds you. Wake up in the morning to deer and wild turkeys roaming in the forest outside, and enjoy your coffee in the sunroom, on the back deck or on a walk to nearby Cooper Lake. Downtown Woodstock is an 8 min drive, while other local favorites The Pines and Phoenicia Diner are within 15 minutes. Close by hiking trails abound as well, with the famous Overlook Mountain under 5 miles away.
