Refresh your mind & soul on the covered back porch overlooking the mature woods. Enjoy watching the abundant wildlife, including turkeys, deer, chipmunks and squirrels.

Grandpa’s Cabin at Heidenreich Hollow offers exclusive lodging on our hilly 5 acre wooded property. We offer a peaceful getaway from life while being right in the middle of both Indianapolis and Bloomington! Our quiet rustic cabin has a loft bedroom with stair access that includes a King size bed, 2 twin beds and an air mattress. Several parks within an hour or less drive that offer fishing, swimming, hiking, caves, biking, and canoeing.

Our non-electric cabin in the woods is the perfect glamping opportunity. This rustic retreat is a 5-8 minute walk from our house and parking lot. The 270 square foot tiny house has a queen mattress in the loft, a wood stove for heat, cooking facilities including a propane cook top and gravity fed rain water (non-potable). Large windows look out over a beautiful southern Indiana holler. Camp shower & composting toilet. Experience comfortable, tent - free camping!
