Quarterdeck - Camden Windward House

The Quarterdeck is a deluxe, 2nd floor king room, with a large private deck and separate entrance from the main Windward House Inn. Located in the back of the property, this very private room boasts floor to ceiling windows with an enormous deck, overlooking Mt. Battie. The high vaulted ceilings add additional natural light with a series of skylights. Other amenities include a gas fireplace, refrigerator, Keurig machine and large Samsung smart TV. The en-suite bathroom features a single person Jacuzzi tub and separate walk-in shower. In nautical terms, the quarterdeck is a raised deck behind the main mast of a sailing ship. Traditionally it was where the captain commanded his vessel and where the ship’s military colors were kept. This led to its use as the main ceremonial and reception area. From relaxing to star gazing, let the Quarterdeck be the focal point of your new England trip. All guest rooms include a complimentary two course, fresh, made to order, breakfast.

THE SUNRISE ROOM This room features a comfortable queen-size, pillow-top mattress. Ocean breezes and a ceiling fan keeps this room comfortable in warmer months. For autumn evenings, a fluffy duvet provides just the right amount of warmth. BAY ROOM This cozy room at Victorian by the Sea offers B&B lodging near Camden Maine with big views of Penobscot Bay! You will sleep soundly on the queen, pillow-top mattress while enjoying the sound of the lapping waves on the stone beach nearby.  A ceiling fan and sea breezes assure your comfort. An ensuite bathroom w/shower is available. Fluffy terry robes and Gilchrist & Soames bath products are provided.  For an additional fee of $20. pp, a warm Gourmet Breakfast is available.
