Unravel the two very different tales of this medieval tower house. Originally a noble residence, Corgarff became an army base for hunting down Jacobite sympathisers and, later, whisky smugglers. Please check the website and/or Facebook page for opening hours and other relevant details.

Beautifully restored Corgarff Castle dates from 1537 and is the place where Margaret Forbes and her family were burned to death in 1571 during a clan feud.
