The Big Bog is the Nation's largest natural peat moss bog. The one-mile metal boardwalk (suitable for wheelchairs) takes you on a journey through the bog. Weird and wonderful plans and wildlife. Suitable for small kids.

If you are driving up from the cities this is a fun stop on the bog road, hwy 72. You do need a state park sticker. There are two recreational areas, the boardwalk is the furthest north. They have a long boardwalk around a lake and the scenery is very pretty in the fall. Bugs are bad in the summer.
