The third highest summit of the Apuan Alps, the scenery on the way to the top and the view from the summit worth the hike!

Drive to Piglionico (15min) and park there. Follow the signs to "Pania della Croce" and "Rifugio Rossi". Beautiful walk. You can either stop at the "rifugio" for lunch/glass of wine (only on weekends in winter time, otherwise always open during summer) or reach the top with amazing 360' views. TIP: dogs are fine only up to the "rifugio", after that I wouldn't recommend.

The Queen of Apuan Alps. The main footpath start just 1 h drive from il Palazzaccio. Only for expert mountaineers!
