Praia da Califórnia (Califórnia Beach) is the strip of golden sand in the centre of Sesimbra.

Praia da Califórnia is located in the eastern part of the Bay of Sesimbra, and generally presents a very calm sea and a long sandy extension. The clear blue water is very hard to resist despite the water temperature that is usually around 19ºC.
