it's so lovely to sit at the Boathouse cafe. Which is the only cafe in Sandgate that is literally overlooking the beach. They sell amazing Mackrell rolls, brie and cranberry rolls, fish fingers sarnies and loads more and if whippy ice cream is your bag then this is the place. This is a snack place really and only opens when the weather is good and I think is open from 9ish till 5ish. but they don't seem to have set times. i like it's quirky tables with little painted pebbles on them. This is the place to go on a hot day, but it can get very busy!

This is the perfect beachfront cafe that's hard to beat on a sunny day. Very tasty and reasonably priced food alongside nice touches like sunglasses or binoculars to borrow.
