Nice walk to the bay. Birds eat out of your hand. Pending time of year will need tick repellant.

Beautiful wildlife preserve with a 1-mile trail to the beach. Bring sunflower seeds and the chickadees and nuthatches will eat from your open palm. (But only sunflower seeds - they're very spoiled!) You are also likely to see chipmunks, squirrels, rabbit, deer, osprey, Canada geese, box turtles, egrets, herons, red-tailed hawk and more.

Bring a bag of bird seed with you! The abundant birdlife in this park will come and eat the seed right out of your hand - don't worry, they are all very small. Great for children to interact with nature. No dogs allowed in the park.

Stellar. Bring bird seed and the birds will land on your hand. no dogs. Amazing spot for kids.
