The park’s gardens are spread over an area of (370) acres and are located around the Montazah Palace, which was built by King Helmy II to be a rest and summer resort for him in the summer. It is only a plateau at a height of (15) feet. These gardens overlook five beaches such as Phenicia Beach, Cleopatra, Semiramis, Aida, in addition to the private beach of Palestine Hotel. The park’s gardens are not limited to the palace only, but the Haramlek Palace was built for the royal family, the Salamak Palace for recreation, which is now turned into a hotel, and a bridge was built to connect the Tea Island and the palaces. A cinema building, offices for the management of the venue, a water tower and a train station were built, and more than one old Arab movie was filmed in it. معلم من معالم الاسكندرية يعتبر متنزه عائلي كبير جدا ويضم عدد من المطاعم العالمية والفنادق الهادئة والراقيه .. كمان انه معلم تاريخي حيث يشمل قصرين السلملك والحرملك وهو قصر تاريخي انشيء عام ١٨٩٢م ..
