Great little village shop, with a huge surprise behind it. The secret garden is a gem of a find, lovely food down by the river bank

The secret garden at the back provides a relaxed atmosphere sat next to the river with a cocktail and food. Need to book!

Well stocked shop right in the heart of the village. A minutes walk from the cottage. They sell local produce, newspapers and magazines, an extensive range of alcohol, home made ice cream, takeaway sandwiches, pies and pasties plus so much more. On site post office. The icing on the cake is the Secret Garden to the rear which overlooks the river where you can relax and enjoy a meal or a drink.

Through the shop you'll find The Secret Garden by the side of the River Eamont. Perfect for coffee, lunch and dinner. Booking advisable.
