Island hopping in Helsinki. Secret of Helsinki, great place for walking, swimming and picknicks. Former closed military island offer amazing birdlife. Just listen.

Former army island, now open for public. Less crowded than Suomenlinna, but already quite touristy. If you want more peace and quiet, go visit Mjölö (Isosaari).

An old military base on an island. Only opened for public since 2016. Beautiful nature. Short boat trip. Highly recommended!
