The old airfield at Frankfurt green belt is a former unused American military airfield, since 1992 . The river Nida is close by. Its area covers approximately 4.5 hectares. During the day, especially on weekends many families spend their free time there. Picnic, cycling, quadrocopter flying are some most of preferred activities. There is also a restaurant and a cafe. There are also many special events for children, visible on the Internet.
