Strathspey Railway - stations are Broomhill (Dulnain), Boat of Garten and Aviemore. A great train ride through the speyside countryside.

Enjoy views of the stunning Cairngorms National Park from the Strathspey Steam Railway. Running from Aviemore to Broomhill (Glenbogle) Station (or visa versa) you can alight at Boat of Garten and enjoy the village before reboarding the train to complete you journey. Brought back to life in 1978 by a dedicated group of volunteers, this ten mile restored section of the original Highland Railway Line enables you to travel back in time to an era when steam whistles blew , carriage doors slammed shut and there was a familiar click-clack, rhythm of the rails, as the train travels along the track.
