The BEST places for beers on a budget, $5 pints always and forever.

A "locals" bar/pub. Usually busy earlier in the night. The cheapest pints of craft beer ($5) in Ottawa, as well as really cheap food. This crowd is hit and miss, but sit at the bar upstairs and you'll probably end up meeting some new people. Cash only.

PourBoy offers cheap 5$ beers and affordable food. They also host Trivia Nights on Thursday! The front looks like a massive art piece. Great local eatery

This chill college bar is great for those on a budget. With $4 domestic pints and conveniently located a 10 min walk from home you'll find great people, good conversation and cheap beer :D
