Great for families. Go for a pretty walk around the lake . Take a ride on the steam railway along the lake, or take a boat ride. refreshments available at the cafe at the lakeside.

About a 30 minute drive, but a lovely place to visit and has a great little stream railway that runs along side the lake! You can visit Leek, a small market town on the way! www.rudyardlake.com

Short drive away from Knypersley Mill Barn. Approx. 5 mile walk all the way around the lake. There is a small steam train ride and a cafe. Rudyard Hotel offers a quality carvery and lovely outside seating area. (7.3 miles)
