Lardon specializes in charcuterie and salumi, all made on site. Great for date night. May want to make reservation for that. Really great for a lunch sandwich too. For that I usually just do a to-go order or a pickup order.

This neighborhood "salumeria" (Italian for delicatessen) has lots of charcuterie, salumi, and various other meats that are cured-in house. Other popular choices are sandwiches, salads and boards. If you love meat and cheese boards with wine, with a low-key European vibe, you will love this place. Some say their pastrami is the best in Chicago!
