Griboedov Tbilisi Russian Drama Theater was founded in Tbilisi in 1932. The first performance was presented by Constantine Marjanishvili on Maxim Gorky's "bottom" (November 3, 1932). In 1935 the theater was named Alexander Griboyedov. Theater repertoire is Russian and overseas modern and classical works. It is important that the authors of the Georgian authors have an important place, Dadiani "sparkle", I. Valkal "Great Mover" and more.
