There is "zomigidaishindaikyuhokoai*hi" in the front included in park. Toshimichi Okubo of Councilor of time and Secretary of the Interior was assassinated in this neighborhood in (1878) in 1878. Monument which praised achievements of Okubo on this ground near assassination place was erected by cabinet minister of co-worker. In the monument completed in (1888) in 1888, to approximately 6m in height and surface epitaph depend on calligraphy of Prime Minister Sanetomi Sanjo. This ground is considered to be park of Tokyo City from (1890) in 1890 and shows calm appearance to let you forget the urban noise now.
