One of the older malls in Chiang Mai. What it lacks in fancy decor it makes up for with great prices. SECRET TIP: Go to the second floor and walk all the way to the back to find several massage parlors that give massages for only 150 Baht per hour! You can't go wrong at that price.

Go to Maya for window-shopping, but to KadSuanKeaw for all the essentials that you actually need. Tops Supermarket on the lower level. Apple computer shop. Central Department Store. It's a little shopworn and dated, but still a very useful place for everyday needs.

Kad Suan Kaew offers retail therapy with air-con comfort. The anchor tenant is the Bangkok-based Central Department and there’s a Tops Marketplace for buying foreign-friendly foods.

This is a mall that caters more to Thais than foreigners. There are three massage shops on the second floor that give excellent massages for only 150 Baht per hour. Keep in mind that they are not in a "luxury atmosphere" but the quality of the massages is generally high. There is also a good size outdoor street food market directly outside that starts at sundown on several days of the week.
