We have a local outfitter just down the street that offers mountain bike rentals in the summer/fall months and cross country ski or snowshoe rentals in the winter. There is an extensive trail network that you can access from directly behind the cabin. Check out TahoeXC.org

Walk or bike to the Nordic Center from your town home. You can connect to miles of trails and enjoy world class mountain biking, hiking, and phenomenal views. In the winter this is a cross country ski area, and the forests and lake views are especially gorgeous in the snow.
