At 20 minute walking distance, you can also take the tram. Very nice station itself!

Is it a trainstation or a piece of art? Around 110,000 travelers pass Rotterdam Central Station every day to use bus, tram, metro or train. Rotterdam Central Station has had a total metamorphosis in recent years and the station building is now one of the city's architectural icons. The roof above the tracks is partially covered with solar panels and merges smoothly into the hood above the station hall. The point of this points to the center of the city. A number of historical elements of the old station building (1957) of Sybold van Ravesteyn have been preserved.
