a 700+ acre watershed property, with many great trails for hiking and biking. Enjoy nature at its finest with so many natural foot bridges and creeks, the cool mountain area, it's an amazing area and so close to downtown. All the paths are very clearly marked for new-comers, as well.

Opened in 2017 after several years of developing miles of hiking and biking trails along Piney Ridge. Visit for a gentle 2-3 mile stroll - and take the more adventurous routes for a day trek of 15 or 22 miles. Check your GPS doesn't get you to the wrong entrance - drive to the Casino and take the road opposite.

VERY well marked and maintained trails for mountain biking and hiking, with a heavy canopy. Nice creek flows through, adding a good spot to cool your feet in the summer.

Piney Knob Trail System, 15 miles of recreational hiking and mountain biking trails on the 700+ acre Murphy Watershed property off of Piney Knob Hill Road. All trails are dirt single-track trails and built in accordance with International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA) standards.
