undisturbed, natural area...Super birdwatching, over 205 varieties of birds have been positively identified here- especially great for shore birds (ibis, heron, willet, pelicans etc) and water fowl (ducks and geese), great place for osprey, hawks...falcons in winter. Native wildlife is plentiful here...turtles, crabs, fish, deer, muskrats, fox etc. Great kayaking spot, crabbing and fishing spot. Large marsh area adjoining the river. Has a large enclosed compound area
