Walker Ranch is very close to the cabin. Other hiking trails are in Golden Canyon State Park and Check out the visitors center in Nederland for nearby hiking trails. All of these trails are close to the cabin

There's a trailhead about 10 minutes away. Hike down to the Creek for some fly fishing or just viewing (about 3 or 5 miles RT, depending on which side you choose). Or do the entire loop for a 7.8 mile hike! Trails also connect to Eldorado State Canyon. Also, a mountain biker's paradise! For the side closest to us, you'll want to search for the Crescent Meadows Trailhead.
