Take a boat trip on the lake to see the flooded temples (called sunken temple), Sangkhlaburi About the story: the village and its temples were located in the valley before the dam built a few years ago swallowed up all this (current lake). Depending on the season of the year and the rain, it is possible to see the temples that emerge from the water: that's pretty impressive! We came here in August, during the rainy season and access to the temple is by boat only! In April, it is possible to walk to the temples as the depth of the lake is very low during the dry season.
