Interesting place to visit if you have extra time. Discusses history of using love oak trees for building old U.S. Navy ships in the 1800's. Some nice walking trails and picnic areas.

Overnight camp grounds on the sound side include RV and tent camping areas, a public bath house and a cooking pavilion. Reservations are required.
