Take the small ferry (3 minutes) over to this tiny island. Order a drink and sit by the fire in the beautiful lobby or play golf, have a formal dinner at the castle or just take a walk.

You need to catch a (free) car ferry to get to the 300 acre island which where the anglo norman family the Fitzgeralds built a castle in the 15th century. There will be a big open fire and the drink prices are modestly more than the main land but well worth the experience.
