Viewed from the sky its form is an English Rose! This Castle is one of the defensive castles built by King Henry VIII. Cinque Ports. Parking on site. Perhaps an afternoon out, not all day. Oh and the below ground rooms and perimeter tunnel to explore are always a favourite along with the cannons on the battlements looking out to sea.
