I love hiking through this national park. The cooler days are best for doing this. Take plenty of sunscreen, fly repellant, camera and loads of water.

Only 16 klms from loveland is situated mount lesueur national park. a great opportunity to view the surroundings from the top of mount lesueur, a 45 minute climb away. 16 klms of bitumen with stop off points along its length to view the wildflowers and wildlife. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy a day out.

Gorgeous for hiking and sightseeing, especially during the cooler months. Look out for wildflowers and native bushes in bloom during late Winter and Spring. Keep your eyes peeled for echidnas and kangaroos as well.

If you're coming in wild flower season from Aug to October this park has a wonderfully diverse range of wild flowers .You could include it on a tour to The Pinnacles at Nambung National Park,also worth seeing.
