This is one of my favorite spots in the world. It's a short hike out to a boardwalk that goes into the marsh. Great place to spot bald eagles and other birds.

Constitution Marsh Audubon Center and Sanctuary is a unique and beautiful tidal marsh located in Putnam County, New York, and serves as vital natural habitat for the Hudson River Estuary.

Unfortunately there's no parking here. Take an Uber or ask for one of us to drop you off. It's an intermediate hike - downhill, up hill and then over some rocks. Fantastic views of the marsh area.

Easy hike one direction from the parking lot to a great little waterfall (walk along road most of way, then very short distance along creek). Hike the other direction from the parking lot to the actual Constitution Marsh - great easy hike (some uphill climbs on rocks but easy to follow paths) that takes you to a walkway over the marsh on the Hudson River. Stunning views and a view of West Point directly across the river.
