Great beach. One of the best in the whole South Shore. Great sunsets, easy access, stock up at Safeway and spend a day there, or, bring a picnic dinner and stay for a cool sunset as people leave after spending the day. The view looking west over the Lake and the mountains of Desolation Wilderness are postcard worthy.

Nice place to hang out at the beach. Clean bathrooms and not overly crowded.

Great dog-friendly beach with very few people. One of the best places to watch 4th of July fireworks.
