Some of the properties that Westerly Land Trust owns are open to the public and have nice hiking trails. An interesting one down the street from us is the "Dr. John Champlin Glacier Park". Here there are signs explaining how the glacier formed the land we live on. From "Charlie's Overlook" you can look over Winnapaug Pond to Misquamicut Beach out to the Atlantic Ocean and sometimes Block Island and Long Island are in sight.
