The Mohawk River State Park and adjoining town land include a wide variation of terrain and ecosystems. The miles of trails cross grassy fields, hilly hemlock and white pine stands, and hardwoods. The trails can be accessed via numerous well-marked trailheads: -the end of Whitmyer Rd. -Blatnick Park, behind the dog park -Rosendale Rd. opposite Agostino Ave. -Numerous locations on the bike path between Lock 7 Rd. and the Blatnick hill. I got a detailed map of all the trails. Awesome view from most lookouts. 5-8 min away.
