Great lobster roll food truck about 1 min away from us. Skip the tourist lines in Kennebunkport! Drive down Route 1 toward Kennebunk, and at the first light, you'll see a red vintage food truck on the right-hand side. The lobster rolls are generous and light on the mayo. The fried clams and scallops are delicious too.

If you're driving up from Boston to Mermaid House, here's a great tip! Get off the Turnpike at Exit 19 instead of 32. Plug into GPS the address 1 Ross Road, Kennebunk which takes you to the oldest food truck in the USA (yes, really). It has the best LOBSTER ROLLS!! And nice, clean restrooms, too. Just as you reach Route 1 (where you'll turn left onto US 1), you'll see the food truck on your right. The driving time to Mermaid House is exactly the same (as Exit 32) but you get a super nice perk!

Just a 1 mile drive away, this seasonal food truck is beyond delicious to pick up a lobster roll or clam cakes on your way to the beach! Cash only.
