Central Park is an urban park in the New York City borough of Manhattan. It was initially opened in 1857, on 778 acres (315 ha) of city-owned land (it is 843 acres today)

One of my favorite places to wander in NYC. Grab a picnic before arriving and find a quiet spot in the shade or a sunny lively spot in the very popular sheep meadow. 6 mile run/bike loop around park.
