New metro line to Barra and neighbourhoods in the West of the city. The line starts at General Osório, where the lines to the centre leave from.

This park located one block up the street from the apto, is a nice place to stroll during the day or in the evening. It's safe in the evening as many people visit with families and dogs. Twice a week there's a farmer's market held on teh sidewalk surrounding the park. There's a lovely catholic church on the corner across the street
