Seven miles of wooded trails for hiking or cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. There is also a playground, sports complex with basketball, softball, tennis and volleyball courts.

590-acre state park. Picnic tables with pavilions, a playground, recreation programs, hiking and biking, a nature trail, cross-country skiing, and a food concession. Sports complex offers softball, volleyball, basketball, and tennis, in addition to the 18-hole James Baird State Park Golf Course. Access from Taconic State PKWY or Freedom Road.
