Do you like machines? Do you care about the environment? Do you want your picture taken in a Trash Truck? This new recycling facility is the largest and smartest residential recycling plant in North America. The learning center is the place to come see the working floor of state of the art machinery, the flow of recyclables and learn about the facts and figures on recycling. Republic Service plant efficiently captures 80 % of materials for reuse and saves it from the landfill. Learn about it's use of solar energy. How fast are they? They can process a whole truckload of material in 3 minutes. It is fun to learn what we are doing and can do better for planet earth. Driving to visit?.
