This place has the best, authentic Southern Mexican food I've ever had. Plus, every other Friday night there's a live Mariachi band! Beautiful decor, excellent service.

The project of Tequila Comida & Cantina became a reality in 2014, when brothers Miguel and Ramón Villaseñor already managed Los Portales Supermercado and Taquería Los Portales, this great project consisted of bringing Mexican cuisine to the city of Wilmington, NC, inspired merely by the prehispanic ingredients used by our ancestors. The main focus of the Villaseñor owners is presenting dishes with a fusion of traditional flavors of the millenary Mexican gastronomy mixed with a touch of contemporary cuisine.
