Climb the 185-step spiral staircase of Gibbs’ Hill Lighthouse to enjoy one of the best views on the island. The 117-foot lighthouse was built in 1846 of cast iron – the oldest of its kind in the world, and one of only two cast-iron lighthouses still in existence. A beautiful, classic lighthouse with views of all of Bermuda. Climb the stairs to the top and then settle in for a yummy thin crust pizza at The Dining Room, the adjoining restaurant.

From Langata Lower you can walk the Railway Trails or ride your rental bike to Gibbs Hill Lighthouse to enjoy the panoramic views from the top. It is possible to see both the Great Sound and the Southshore even from the Lighthouse grounds at the base.
