The Zona Romántica, also called Old Town, is a great area to explore in downtown Puerto Vallarta. The Zona Romántica is a vibrant neighborhood characterized by its cobblestone streets and old architecture. It's filled with art galleries, cute boutique shops, great restaurants and cafes, trendy bars and clubs, as well as iconic sights, like the Los Muertos Pier and Isla Río Cuale Flea Market.

Zona Romántica is a trendy area filled with lively local, expat and LGBT bars, plus restaurants serving global fare. Quaint courtyard cafes and contemporary art galleries sit alongside boutique hotels on cobblestone streets.
